That’s okay. Tell us about your child and what they love, and we’ll help you find a direction for their story.
Do I have to use the assistant?
No. Choose “Answer a few questions” to use the guided questionnaire instead. Both options help you make a personalized book. If you choose the assistant, your microphone stays off until you start talking.
How does the free digital book work?
Your first eligible digital book is free to read in full, cover to cover. Additional books may require a digital purchase. A printed hardcover is optional and costs $39.99, including the digital book and standard US delivery.
What can I make a book about?
The people, pets, toys, places, and little fascinations your child loves. You can start with your own idea or choose a story to make theirs.
Will the character look like my child?
You can add photos to guide their illustrated likeness. Because every illustration is made for the story, the resemblance can vary from page to page. You can review the pictures and request changes before ordering.
Can I make changes before it’s printed?
Yes. In the book viewer, you can edit the words and request picture changes. The number of available changes is shown there. New hardcover orders have a 48-hour review period after payment, then go to print automatically. You can review and edit your book during that time. Your current print status is shown in the book viewer.
Can someone help me make changes?
Yes. You can edit your book yourself or ask our human team for help with the story and illustrations, at no extra cost. Use Help in your book viewer or email support@tippytale.com. Request changes before your hardcover goes to print.
